So when you envisioned motherhood, you pictured raising your kids to be active and playful, with you right alongside them.

But once you had kids, it looked different. You started to prioritize your kids' health but neglect your own.

The schedule and healthy habits you lived by before, fell to the back burner as you got busy in motherhood and you stopped prioritizing yourself.

This keeps you feeling uncomfortable in your skin, feeling guilty for wanting to take time for yourself, but also in a mental tug of war because you know you need to take care of yourself or you won’t be happy deep down.

Meet Dr. Kara!

I am Dr. Kara, a mom, physical therapist and postpartum specialist who has a crazy passion for changing what is normal postpartum.

I feel God has called me to serve mothers to be the healthiest version of themselves so they can thrive in motherhood and beyond.

I was first introduced into helping others through health and fitness when I experienced my first knee injury at 15 that left me needing two surgeries. Fast forward to age 17 and I had had 5 knee surgeries in 2 years and felt lost.

However, God was using the experience to give me my first taste of how I could truly make an impact in the world. That experience started my drive to become a physical therapist, but a different kind of therapist. One who treated my patients as people vs diagnoses and utilize a holistic approach.

As I waited to be accepted into physical therapy school, I stumbled upon CrossFit. I freaking LOVED how strong I became and being around others who valued health as I did.

I started teaching it and over the years, I heard women constantly making comments about their body issues after kids. I can't tell you how many times I heard moms say "hold on, I need to pee before we start the workout". It was mind blowing, but also realized it was another direction from God.

Those CrossFit women are what led me to start this business and fueled this passion to change how women experience postpartum. I knew I could do better than a lame 6 week appointment and an "all clear'".

Since starting this business, I have been blessed to help over 100 women get out of pain, stop peeing their pants and finally feel like they are free from any intrusive thought about their body that they developed after kids.

This mom of 3 👉🏻 was dealing with chronic back pain and overall felt uncomfortable in her body. She came to me after doing a family photoshoot and feeling down about how she looked.

After 6 months together, she was moving pain free, fitting into her clothes and happy with her body again!

Within 6 months of working together, she was done over 20 pounds and felt like she was able to keep up with her child without fear of hurting herself!
